SACRAMENTO – Someone who purchased their ticket in Virginia is waking up a multimillionaire this morning because they won the $200 million Mega Millions jackpot last night. However, one lucky winner in Blythe, CA did win $460,588. That winning ticket matched five of six numbers and only missed the Mega number.
The winning ticket was sold at Q-Check East located at 8991 E. Hobson Way in Blythe. The winning numbers on the ticket are 10, 13, 18, 33, 51 and the Mega number was 43. Tuesday’s jackpot is worth an estimated $12 million.
The California Lottery wants to remind winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
MEGA Millions is a multi-state game, played in California and 11 other states. Players pick five numbers from a field of 56 plus a Mega number from a field of 46. Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers.
